Finding the Wood for the Binding

The old bindings are made from Bubinga. The new lumber is a bit lighter, but after planing, scraping and finishing it with shellac, the colour should match the original precisely. The reason for matching the colour is that the fingerboard is of the same wood, and the transition between fingerboard and bindings should be inconspicuous.
