Below is the launch video, which gives you a pretty good impression of what the Storyteller Guitar Project is all about.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube_sc url=&#8221;http:\/\/youtu.be\/8ZnIoKEiJFQ&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The musicians I currently work with in this project are <a title=\"Kerri Stephens' Duo Website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lastditchontheleft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kerri Stephens<\/a>\u00a0(singer\/songwriter) and <a href=\"http:\/\/headinthesand.ca\/lesjupes\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Petkau Falk<\/a>\u00a0(Les Jupes\/Head In The Sand).<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 1.8em; line-height: 1.5em;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; line-height: 18px;\"><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h2>Artists<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vorreiterguitars.com\/?attachment_id=719\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-719\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2013-04-03 at 10.46.56 AM\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vorreiterguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Screen-Shot-2013-04-03-at-10.46.56-AM-150x150.png\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" data-id=\"719\" \/><\/a>Kerri Stephens<\/strong>\u00a0is a songwriter and a performer with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lastditchontheleft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Last Ditch On The Left<\/a>\u00a0as well as has 2 solo CD&#8217;s that have also been released under the name Kerri Woelke. \u00a0Her songwriting is very personal and varies between folk\/roots and country. She has toured numerous times solo as well as with Last Ditch On The Left (w\/ Brent Warren)\u00a0&#8220;Kerri (Stephens) has a voice on par with the best. I admire her passion.&#8221;\u00a0&#8211; Michael Longoria (Percussionist &#8211; Patty Griffin)<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thestorytellerguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Oshima-2-bw-lo-res.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"Oshima 2 bw lo res\" src=\"http:\/\/thestorytellerguitar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Oshima-2-bw-lo-res-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" data-id=\"29\" \/><\/a>Michael P Falk<\/strong>\u00a0is a songwriter and performer with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/headinthesand.ca\/lesjupes\/\" target=\"_blank\">Les Jupes<\/a>, the owner of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/headinthesand.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Head In The Sand Records<\/a>, a record producer, and former Artistic Director of the West End Cultural Centre.\u00a0 His songwriting alternates between gentle acoustic ballads and driving indie rock, and his work to support and grow the local music community has had him dubbed &#8220;the patron-saint of the Winnipeg music scene&#8221; (Jaxon Haldane, d.Rangers).<\/p>\n<p>Mike has a very personal relationship to his instruments and has often taken a long time to find just the right one that &#8220;feels right&#8221;.\u00a0 Like his songwriting, his playing technique ranges from gentle fingerpicking to aggressive angular riffing, and he looks for instruments that can balance both extremes.<\/p>\n<p>His relationship to music formed in his late teens when he picked up a classical guitar given to him by Earl Dyck of Morden.\u00a0 Mike never pursued lessons, but instead viewed the instrument as an outlet for creativity, experimentation and exploration.\u00a0 In recent years he has hussled to catch up on theory to enhance his self-taught playing but continues to get excited by learning new chords, interesting progressions and unexpected melodies.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vorreiterguitars.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Zeitungsartikel-croppedmodified-150x150.png\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" data-id=\"722\" \/>Florian Vorreiter<\/strong>\u00a0started his apprenticeship in Austria and continued his lutherie studies at university in Germany. After his graduation in 2008, he opened his own workshop in Winnipeg and a store last year.
