News from the workbench

This morning my wife came into the workshop and said: “It’s women’s day, so why don’t you offer your work to female musicians for 77% retail price?”. I liked the idea, so here it is:

  • The next 3 custom builds ordered by female artists by the end of March 10th, 2017 are available at 77% of what I normally charge.
  • The same goes for the exhibition model/previously owned instruments I currently have in stock.
  • All inquiries will be treated on a first-come, first served basis. For starting the ordering and inquiry process, begin here.

Other than that, my days are filled with lots of French Polishing until the for this beauty tuners arrive, to get it shipped  to Hong Kong:

If you are enquiring about repairs, there is a bit of a wait list. Feel free to contact me via phone or email to schedule a repair assessment.

If you are interested in building your own instrument under my tutelage, please proceed to www.guitarmakingschool.ca for more information.

Repairs and Restorations:

For inquiries about instrument repairs, please contact me via phone or email. Assessments are free of charge, and best performed in the workshop so that I can see the instrument up close and use my tools to ascertain its condition. For reference, feel free to check out my restoration of a  Martin 00-18, and other restoration projects such as a  lute top replacement and neck reset, a bridge reglue on a Martin D-28 and  a Washburn Mandolin overhaul.
